Established in 1989, Université Ibn Tofail (Ibn Tofail University) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the medium city of Kénitra (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Rabat-Sale-Kenitra. Officially recognized by the Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur, de la Recherche Scientifique et de la Formation des Cadres (Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Professional Training of Morocco), Université Ibn Tofail (UIT) is a large coeducational Moroccan higher education institution. Université Ibn Tofail (UIT) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation) in several areas of study. This 33 years old Moroccan higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment. UIT also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
