Founded in 2003, Université Protestante de l'Afrique de l'Ouest (Protestant University of West Africa) is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the medium city of Porto Novo (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Oueme. Officially recognized by the Ministère de lEnseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique, Benin (Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Benin), Université Protestante de l'Afrique de l'Ouest (UPAO) is a coeducational Beninese higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Protestant religion. Université Protestante de l'Afrique de l'Ouest (UPAO) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
