Founded in 1981, Universitas Abdurachman Saleh (Abdurachman Saleh University) is a private higher-education institution located in the large city of Situbondo (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), East Java. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Abdurachman Saleh is a small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution.
