Founded in 2002, Universitas Al Ghifari (Al-Ghifari University) is a private higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Bandung (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), West Java. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Al Ghifari is a very small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution. Universitas Al Ghifari offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. Universitas Al Ghifari also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
