Founded in 2008, Universitas Al-washliyah Labuhan Batu (Al-washliyah Labuhan Batu University) is a private higher-education institution located in the large city of Labuhan Batu (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), North Sumatra. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Al-washliyah Labuhan Batu is a very small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution.
