Founded in 1980, Universitas Atma Jaya Makassar (Atma Jaya University, Makassar) is a private higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Makassar (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), South Sulawesi. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Atma Jaya Makassar (UAJM) is a very small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution. Universitas Atma Jaya Makassar (UAJM) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
