Established in 2014, Universitas Buddhi Dharma (Buddhi Dharma University) is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the rural setting of the metropolis of Tangerang (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Banten. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Buddhi Dharma (UBD) is a small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Buddhist religion. Universitas Buddhi Dharma (UBD) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor degrees in several areas of study. This 7 years old Indonesian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment. UBD also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, financial aids and/or scholarships, study abroad and exchange programs, as well as administrative services.
