Founded in 1968, Universitas Cokroaminoto Makassar (Cokroaminoto University of Makassar) is a private higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Makassar (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), South Sulawesi. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Cokroaminoto Makassar (UC) is a very small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution. Universitas Cokroaminoto Makassar (UC) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. UC also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, online courses and distance learning opportunities, as well as administrative services.
