Established in 1979, Universitas Cokroaminoto Yogyakarta (Cokroaminoto University of Yogyakarta) is a private higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Yogyakarta (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Yogyakarta SR. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Cokroaminoto Yogyakarta (UCY) is a very small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion. Universitas Cokroaminoto Yogyakarta (UCY) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
