Established in 1986, Universitas Dharmawangsa (Dharmawangsa University) is a private higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Medan (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), North Sumatra. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Dharmawangsa is a small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution. Universitas Dharmawangsa offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
