Established in 1999, Universitas Garut (Garut University) is a private higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Garut (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), West Java. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Garut (UNIGA) is a small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution. Universitas Garut (UNIGA) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. UNIGA also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
