Founded in 2003, Universitas Iqra Buru (Iqra Buru University) is a private higher-education institution located in the large town of Namlea (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Maluku. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Iqra Buru (UIB) is a very small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution. Universitas Iqra Buru (UIB) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
