Founded in 1987, Universitas Iskandarmuda (Iskandarmuda University) is a private higher-education institution located in the medium city of Banda Aceh (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Aceh. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Iskandarmuda (UIM) is a very small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution. Universitas Iskandarmuda (UIM) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
