Founded in 2003, Universitas Islam Balitar (Islamic University of Balitar) is a private higher-education institution located in the small city of Blitar (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), East Java. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Islam Balitar (UIB) is a small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion. Universitas Islam Balitar (UIB) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. UIB also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
