Founded in 1983, Universitas Islam Kadiri (Islamic University of Kadiri) is a private higher-education institution located in the medium city of Kediri (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), East Java. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Islam Kadiri is a medium-sized coeducational Indonesian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion.
