Founded in 1999, Universitas Islam Majapahit (Islamic University of Majapahit) is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Mojokerto (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), East Java. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Islam Majapahit (UNIM) is a small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion. Universitas Islam Majapahit (UNIM) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. This 22 years old Indonesian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 70-80% making this Indonesian higher education organization a somewhat selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.
