Established in 2013, Universitas Islam Nahdlatul Ulama (Nahdlatul Ulama Islamic University) is a private higher-education institution located in the large city of Jepara (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Central Java. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Islam Nahdlatul Ulama (UNISNU Jepara) is a medium-sized coeducational Indonesian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion.
