Established in 2013, Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry (Ar-Raniry State Islamic University) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the medium city of Banda Aceh (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Aceh. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry (UINAR) is a very small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion. Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry (UINAR) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. UINAR also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
