Established in 2017, Universitas Islam Negeri Mataram (State Islamic University of Mataram) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the medium city of Mataram (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), West Nusa Tenggara. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Islam Negeri Mataram (UIN Mataram) is a coeducational Indonesian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion. Universitas Islam Negeri Mataram (UIN Mataram) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. UIN Mataram also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
