Established in 1991, Universitas Islam Nusantara (Islamic University of Nusantara) is a private higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Bandung (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), West Java. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Islam Nusantara is a small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion. Universitas Islam Nusantara offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
