Established in 1964, Universitas Jember (University of Jember) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Jember (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), East Java. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Jember (UNEJ) is a large coeducational Indonesian higher education institution. Universitas Jember (UNEJ) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 57 years old Indonesian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.
