Founded in 1984, Universitas Katolik Santo Thomas (Santo Thomas Catholic University) is a private higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Medan (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), North Sumatra. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Katolik Santo Thomas (UKST) is a small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Catholic religion. Universitas Katolik Santo Thomas (UKST) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
