Founded in 1982, Universitas Katolik Widya Karya (Widya Karya Catholic University) is a private higher-education institution located in the large city of Malang (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), East Java. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Katolik Widya Karya (UKWK Malang) is a very small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Catholic religion. Universitas Katolik Widya Karya (UKWK Malang) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. UKWK Malang also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
