Founded in 1987, Universitas Kristen Palangka Raya (Christian University of Palangkaraya) is a private higher-education institution located in the small city of Palangka Raya (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Central Kalimantan. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Kristen Palangka Raya (UKPR) is a very small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution. Universitas Kristen Palangka Raya (UKPR) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. UKPR also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
