Established in 1983, Universitas Lumajang (University of Lumajang) is a private higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Lumajang (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), East Java. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Lumajang is a very small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution. Universitas Lumajang offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
