Established in 2014, Universitas Matana (Matana University) is a private higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Tangerang (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Banten. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Matana is a very small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution.
