Established in 2016, Universitas Muhammadiyah Banjarmasin (Muhammadiyah University of Banjarmasin) is a private higher-education institution located in the large city of Banjarmasin (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), South Kalimantan. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Muhammadiyah Banjarmasin (UMB) is a small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion.
