Established in 2008, Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo (Muhammadiyah University of Gorontalo) is a private higher-education institution located in the small city of Gorontalo (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo is a small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion.
