Established in 1987, Universitas Muhammadiyah Lampung (Muhammadiyah University of Lampung) is a private higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Bandar Lampung (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Lampung. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Muhammadiyah Lampung (UML) is a very small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion. Universitas Muhammadiyah Lampung (UML) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. UML also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
