Founded in 2014, Universitas Muhammadiyah Tasikmalaya (Muhammadiyah University of Tasikmalaya) is a private higher-education institution located in the large city of Tasikmalaya (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), West Java. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Muhammadiyah Tasikmalaya (UMTAS) is a very small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion. Universitas Muhammadiyah Tasikmalaya (UMTAS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. UMTAS also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
