Established in 1996, Universitas Muslim Nusantara Al-Washliyah (Nusantara Al-wasliyah Muslim University) is a private higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Medan (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), North Sumatra. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Muslim Nusantara Al-Washliyah (UMNAW) is a medium-sized coeducational Indonesian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion.
