Founded in 1955, Universitas Negeri Manado (State University of Manado) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Minahasa (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), North Sulawesi. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Negeri Manado (UNIMA) is a large coeducational Indonesian higher education institution. Universitas Negeri Manado (UNIMA) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
