Established in 2001, Universitas Nuku (Nuku University) is a private higher-education institution located in the small city of Tidore Kepulauan (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), North Maluku. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Nuku (UN) is a very small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution.
