Established in 1963, Universitas Palangka Raya (University of Palangka Raya) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Palangka Raya (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Central Kalimantan. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Palangka Raya (UPR) is a large coeducational Indonesian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Protestant religion. Universitas Palangka Raya (UPR) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. UPR also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
