Founded in 2000, Universitas Papua (State University of Papua) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Manokwari (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), West Papua. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Papua (UNIPA) is a large coeducational Indonesian higher education institution. Universitas Papua (UNIPA) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. UNIPA also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
