Established in 2009, Universitas Pasir Pengaraian (Pasir Pengaraian University) is a private higher-education institution located in the large town of Rokan Hulu (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Riau. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Pasir Pengaraian (UPP) is a small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution. Universitas Pasir Pengaraian (UPP) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. UPP also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
