Founded in 1982, Universitas Pekalongan (University of Pekalongan) is a private higher-education institution located in the medium city of Pekalongan (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Central Java. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Pekalongan is a medium-sized coeducational Indonesian higher education institution.
