Founded in 2011, Universitas Pembangunan Jaya (Pembangunan Jaya University) is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Tangerang Selatan (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Banten. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Pembangunan Jaya (UPJ) is a very small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution.
