Established in 1980, Universitas PGRI Palembang (PGRI University of Palembang) is a private higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Palembang (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), South Sumatra. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas PGRI Palembang is a medium-sized coeducational Indonesian higher education institution.
