Founded in 2004, Universitas Presiden (President University) is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the suburban setting of the large city of Jababeka (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), West Java. This institution also has branch campuses in the following locations: Menara Batavia, South Jakarta. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Presiden (UP) is a very small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution. Universitas Presiden (UP) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. This 18 years old Indonesian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades.
