Established in 1998, Universitas Samawa (Samawa University) is a private higher-education institution located in the small city of Sumbawa Besar (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), West Nusa Tenggara. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Samawa is a small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution. Universitas Samawa offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
