Established in 1966, Universitas Simalungun (Simalungun University) is a private higher-education institution located in the small city of Pematangsiantar (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), North Sumatra. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Simalungun (USI) is a small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution. Universitas Simalungun (USI) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. USI also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
