Established in 1953, Universitas Sjakhyakirti (Sjakhyakirti University) is a private higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Palembang (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), South Sumatra. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Sjakhyakirti is a small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution. Universitas Sjakhyakirti offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
