Founded in 2013, Universitas Surya (Surya University) is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the suburban setting of the metropolis of Tangerang (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Banten. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Surya (SU) is a very small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution. Universitas Surya (SU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. This 9 years old Indonesian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. SU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, financial aids and/or scholarships, study abroad and exchange programs, as well as administrative services.
