Founded in 1987, Universitas Tamansiswa (Tamansiswa University) is a private higher-education institution located in the large city of Padang (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), West Sumatra. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Tamansiswa (UNITAS) is a very small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution. Universitas Tamansiswa (UNITAS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
