Established in 1977, Universitas Tridharma Balikpapan (Tridharma University) is a private higher-education institution located in the medium city of Balikpapan (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), East Kalimantan. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Tridharma Balikpapan is a very small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution.
