Founded in 1985, Universitas Widya Gama (Widya Gama University) is a private higher-education institution located in the large city of Malang (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), East Java. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Widya Gama is a very small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion. Universitas Widya Gama offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. Universitas Widya Gama also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, as well as administrative services.
