Established in 1967, Universitas YARSI (YARSI University) is a private higher-education institution located in the large metropolis of Jakarta (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Jakarta SCR. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia), Universitas YARSI is a very small coeducational Indonesian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion. Universitas YARSI offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
