Established in 1991, Universitatea de Stat din Comrat (Comrat State University) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large town of Comrat (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Gagauzia. Officially recognized by the Ministerul Educatiei a Republicii Moldova (Ministry of Education of the Republic of Moldova), Universitatea de Stat din Comrat is a very small coeducational Moldovan higher education institution. Universitatea de Stat din Comrat offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
