Established in 1979, Universiteit van Curaçao (University of Curaçao Dr. Moises da Costa Gomez) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Willemstad (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministerio di Enseñansa, Siensia, Kultura i Deporte, Curaçao (Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Curaçao), Universiteit van Curaçao (UoC) is a coeducational Curacaoan higher education institution. Universiteit van Curaçao (UoC) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. UoC also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
